The ornamental girdle

Around her waist partly undone
And the leaf-bowl in her hand
Brimming with ambrosia
I and my bride to be goddess
Shall imitate her steps and
Transform our desires into
Sweet tasting embraces.

With the heady fragrant paste
On her bosom soaked in sweat
With her anklets jingling
Rattling Cupid’s jasmine arrow


I and my bride-to-be Menaka
Shall imitate her dance steps
