Enchanting descant...
The motion of this universe
Without beginning middle or end
Is a faultless vocal concert.
Arising in myriads and myriads of pitches
Through millions on millions of musical notes
From an unbeknown sweet throat
Uninterrupted and faultless, continues
This enchanting descant.
This earth, drowning in the heady
Conception of creation, is a sad raga.
Its crescendos are mountain chains
Vast oceans are its decrescendos.
Crescendos....decrescendos.
The rhythm that leads the Milky Way
Is pulsing as truth even in the atom.
Who is great, who is humble
In this music festival of ultimate bliss.
